At the end of August, Mate Rimac began the construction of the future modern global headquarters for Bugatti Rimac and Rimac Technology in Sveta Nedjelja, valued at 200 million euros, and has now shared a video on the progress of the works.
On the Rimac Automobili website, it is stated that the scope and ambitions of the new campus are enormous, making it one of the largest combined R&D and manufacturing facilities in Europe, not just in the automotive industry.
– Serving as the international research and development and manufacturing base for the company, the new state-of-the-art complex will enable the company to scale from prototypes and smaller-scale projects to mass production of its high-performance electric drivetrains and battery systems for many global automotive companies. At the same time, the campus will serve as a manufacturing base for all future Rimac models and their key components, including the Rimac Nevera. With a built area of 100,000 m2 and a larger construction site of 200,000 m2, high-tech innovations remain at the very core of the business – the company adds.
Speaking about the project that has been part of his vision for 10 years, founder and CEO Mate Rimac stated that from the very beginning of the company’s existence, the goal has been to create the best possible working environment.

– It is more natural to create great products when you are in the right environment. With the Campus, we want to do just that – create the best environment for work and creativity, but not just for our employees. This is a place where customers, students, and the general public are welcome and invited to interact with our employees. We also ensure that the facility is integrated into nature and the environment and that it is carbon neutral – Rimac said, adding that Croatia will always be the home of the company.
