AKD Improves Business Processes

The Swiss certification body today presented AKD with the international certificate ISO 37001 – Management System for Combating Bribery. The presentation was attended by Emilija Georgieva, the Swiss Ambassador to the Republic of Croatia, who praised AKD’s efforts in ensuring the highest standards for its company, employees, and business partners.

– AKD is undergoing a series of demanding international audits, so I am particularly pleased that they had a Swiss certification body as a partner in this process. Swiss companies operate at a high global level and always bring a touch of Swiss excellence – Georgieva emphasized, calling for further cooperation between the two countries whose economic ties are exceptionally strong.

– AKD’s strategy is to continuously improve its processes. Since we operate in the international market, we respect the requirements of standards that regulate the production of European documents and other international regulations. The introduction of the ISO 37001 standard is an additional contribution to improving business operations, which AKD has used as an opportunity to formalize already established processes and good business practices – stated AKD’s CEO Jure Sertić.

Otherwise, due to the specifics of its production program, AKD has been working with the most prestigious Swiss companies in the field of secure printing and providing trust services for many years. The company was founded 30 years ago with the aim of producing national documents, and today it develops modern IT solutions in the field of identity and security, providing services to the banking sector and fintech industry, and is listed on the European list of trust service providers. It holds the most demanding certificates and standards, more than thirty, which form the basis for the company’s success.
