In the center of Zagreb, at the address Trg žrtava fašizma 1, a new coworking space Square One has been established with one significant specificity: a focus on women’s entrepreneurship. Namely, an entire floor of the space, which spans 1,200 square meters, is reserved for women and facilities tailored to the needs of female entrepreneurs. In addition, a program has been launched to subsidize single mothers and mothers of children with developmental difficulties, with the long-term goal of providing free workspace.
Practical Solution
The Square One space is designed in the format of private offices for one to eight people, shared workspace, and rooms for meetings, relaxation, and various events. The design part for the space was created by Studio 3P led by architect Jan Pivac.
– We believe that coworking spaces are not a trend, but a long-term solution for all types of professionals and industries as they enable hybrid work concepts. Our primary focus, in addition to providing a quality workplace, is to offer users a quality network of contacts and encourage them to collaborate with each other. We are also proud of the fact that we are promoting the development of women’s entrepreneurship and helping to empower female entrepreneurs who are single mothers – emphasized Klara Rajnović, business development manager.
