The Chinese company Hon Hai Precision Industry, also known as Foxconn, has introduced three of its own electric vehicles. This would not be surprising as electric cars and China go hand in hand, but it is interesting that this company is engaged in the production of electronic devices and that Foxconn is the oldest and largest supplier for Apple.
In addition, the company assembles Apple products, as well as many others, such as the Kindle, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and many Nokia products. Because of all this, the announcement was unexpected, but it seems that the company has decided to focus all its knowledge on electric cars that will hit the market in the future under the name Foxtron. The three presented models do not have creative names, but come as Model E, Model C, and Model T. The first of them is Model E, a family and business sedan designed by the iconic Italian studio Pininfarina.
It is packed with technology, from facial recognition to smart windows, and is powered by electric motors with a power of 750 HP that accelerate it from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds. The compact Foxtron Model C is the entry-level model of this manufacturer, a small city SUV, while Model T is a city electric bus with a range of 400 kilometers.
