After an exceptionally successful first season that attracted public attention last year and helped candidates grow into true entrepreneurs and present their products to the domestic market, this year, hundreds of small entrepreneurs and startups applied to participate in the second season of the 'Startaj Hrvatska' project. Eight of the best candidates were selected, and in the dynamic shows starting this Saturday on Nova TV, viewers will follow their life and entrepreneurial stories.
The candidates of the second season faced a challenging task of perfecting their products, but with the support of the SPAR expert team, their products earned a place on the shelves of the large retail chain.
Innovative and Brave
Among them is Đakovčanin Zvonimir Kalić, an eco-hemp grower who, valuing family heritage, redirected his knowledge of economics into the development of hemp oil Croaticanna. The innovative Jelena Gadže from Zagreb created Fruit Moons, a snack made from dehydrated fruit puree. In addition to an interesting and unique product on the market, Jelena will show viewers what almost steely willpower is, which led her to the ‘Startaj Hrvatska’ project after numerous obstacles.
The Kombucha Team, specifically Roko Romić, Zdravko Džeba, Almira Gilda Tumpap Espina, and Mario Likar, will present their refreshing, lightly carbonated fermented tea, as well as the enthusiasm and momentum that brought this entrepreneurial story halfway around the world to Zagreb. Vesna Sirovina and Ivana Grčić from Samobor will reveal more about the Melli Aromatica brand and natural detergents and fabric softeners, which, among other things, aim to encourage everyone to preserve nature.
One of the candidates is Maja Feralić from Zagreb, who, despite promising herself a decade ago that she would never be an entrepreneur again, returned to entrepreneurial waters. Adapting to coexistence with a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis and new life circumstances resulted in her brand Nutty BARica, a bar with nuts.
