Siemens Energy and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture Signed a Cooperation Agreement

The Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture at the University of Zagreb, Prof. Dr. Sc. Dubravko Majetić, and the Management of Siemens Energy in Croatia, represented by the CEO Boris Miljavac, LL.B., and Management Board member Laura Musić, M.Sc. in Economics, signed a Cooperation Agreement on research, development, and educational projects, as stated in the press release.

The Cooperation Agreement defines the principles of long-term collaboration between FSB and Siemens Energy in all areas of mutual interest, which particularly includes joint applications for scientific research projects to international and domestic funding sources, as well as a joint approach to the economy and public institutions related to research.

The agreement also pertains to professional work and education, planning and implementation of scientific research work, utilization of FSB’s and partners’ equipment and laboratories for the purpose of conducting research and teaching activities, as well as making proposals for modernizing curricula and research laboratories. Additionally, FSB and Siemens Energy will also collaborate on organizing and holding scientific and professional conferences, as well as guest and invited lectures of mutual interest, and conducting all forms of scientific and professional development that are of interest to both partners.

We are confident that together we will significantly contribute to the development of the profession, scientific work, and especially the competencies of our students. Likewise, we believe that as a Faculty, we will contribute to the development of this leading company in the energy sector, and ultimately to the betterment of society as a whole – said Dean Majetić during the signing.
