Specifically, after eight years, it has ordered new ships with an investment value of 137 million US dollars As informed by the Dubrovnik shipping company to the Zagreb Stock Exchange, in accordance with its strategic commitment to modernization, environmental sustainability, and fleet renewal, the Board of Directors meeting held on September 21, 2021, approved contracts for the construction of two ships and two optional ships for the transportation of bulk cargo with a capacity of 82,000 DWT with the shipyard Jiangsu Hantong Ship Heavy Industry Co., Ltd.
– The ships comply with IMO Tier III and EEDI Phase 2 standards. The decision to activate the optional contracts will be made within the deadlines stipulated in the contract. The total investment value is approximately 137 million USD. The delivery of all ships is expected during 2023 – stated Atlantska plovidba.
