Silvio Kutić concludes the two-day Infobip Shift conference

On Wednesday, the Infobip Shift, the largest developer conference in Europe, concluded at the Krešimir Ćosić hall in Zadar. The tenth edition of the conference brought together more than 13 thousand visitors over two days, including nearly three thousand in-person attendees and over ten thousand online viewers. All of them were able to follow the most current topics from the developer and IT world through the presentations of more than 60 top speakers on a total of five stages, as stated in the press release.

This year, the Infobip Shift conference was held for the first time under the organization of Infobip, after the Vodnjan IT company acquired the Shift organization in March, with the long-term goal of creating the largest developer conference in the world.

– We gathered representatives of global tech giants such as Google, Amazon, Microsoft, as well as outstanding local startups including Orqa, Robotiq, and Stemi, along with a large number of people from Infobip. This was our desire – to bring together local and foreign developer experts in one place to present Croatian intelligence and expertise to the rest of the world, but also to enable our people to have direct contact with the globally biggest names in the industry – said Silvio Kutić, co-founder and CEO of Infobip, who concluded the conference in a 'one-on-one' conversation with Ivan Burazin, Infobip’s board member for developer experience and founder of Shift.

Silvio Kutić described his developer journey to all attendees, as well as the development of the Vodnjan company, which, after 15 years since its founding, leads the regional developer scene and counts more than 3500 employees, of which over 1000 are developers. Kutić also explained why the company decided to make a strategic business shift by focusing on the growing developer community.

– We want to make work easier for developers and enable them to be even more influential around the world. The Infobip Shift conference, as a place for sharing knowledge and networking, is one of the ways we want to achieve this. Our goal is for developers and the global developer community to grow and develop directly using Infobip’s technology – concluded Kutić.

During the two-day conference, a large number of startups that are part of the Infobip Startup Tribe platform presented their solutions on the Startup Tribe stage. Under the moderation of Infobip’s experts, they had the opportunity to present themselves and discuss the startup ecosystem, potential investments, and future solutions. Infobip thus opened up opportunities for networking, developing new business collaborations, and further growth.

Let us remind you, the Infobip Startup Tribe program was launched by the Vodnjan IT company in May this year. The program is aimed at finding and gathering the most innovative local and global startups, as well as accelerating and monitoring their growth and development. Currently, 54 startups from 34 countries are included in the program, and in just a few months, more than 200 startup applications have been recorded.
