The rapper will also gather content creators on this platform who will be able to offer explicit content to their subscribers, which they can no longer do on OnlyFans. At least not as before.

Namely, the OnlyFans platform, in order to attract investors, has decided to improve its image – instead of being recognized as an adult site, it aims to be recognized as a lifestyle media. That is precisely why they recently made the decision to significantly restrict creators from posting explicit content, even though it was precisely due to such a 'genre' that the number of subscribers grew by 500 percent to 82 million in 2020. Tyga has clearly decided to take advantage of this new positioning of OnlyFans and attract creators who earned from erotic and pornographic content to his platform. Myystar will see the light of day in October this year and will initially function as an 'invite-only' platform. Also, unlike OnlyFans, which took 20 percent of creators' earnings, Tyga intends to take half that, 10 percent, and, as he stated, 'provide hope to sex workers that they can earn from their work'.
