The new market where the Croatian fintech startup Aircash operates is Spain. Aircash introduced itself to Spanish users with an advertisement during the opening of the new season of the Spanish La Liga, at the match Real Madrid – Deportivo Alaves.
As highlighted by Aircash founder Hrvoje Ćosić, the first step in entering the Spanish market was the signing of a cooperation agreement with the club Deportivo Alaves, and he hopes that new partnerships will increase the number of Aircash users in that market.
At the beginning of the year, Aircash, the fastest-growing Croatian fintech in the payment segment, announced its expansion into the markets of Slovenia, Austria, and Germany. Aircash is registered in the EU register of electronic money institutions by the umbrella regulator EBA.
