Institute IGH, d.d. and BINA – ISTRA d.d. signed a contract on Monday with a total value of 3,903,382.50 kuna (VAT not included in the price), as stated in the announcement.
The subject of the contract includes design work for the preparation of project documentation and the implementation of administrative procedures for Sub-phase 2B2-3 of the full profile of the Istrian Ypsilon – A9 – new structures viaduct Limska Draga and bridge Mirna aimed at completing the full profile of the sections where these structures are located, namely Kanfanar-Medaki and Nova Vas – Višnjan.
Institute IGH as the designer will complete all projects within 300 calendar days from the date of issuance of the order to commence design work, while the deadline for obtaining all building permits is 65 calendar days, resulting in a total period of 365 calendar days.
Institute IGH is a leading Croatian construction company for engineering services, supervision, design, and project management, laboratory services, and the preparation of studies in various construction projects. They operate in the area of Southern and Southeastern Europe, and in May of this year announced expansion into the Middle East and North Africa with the support of the Croatian Chamber of Economy.
In Croatia, they have participated in almost all major infrastructure projects. In the project of constructing the highway Istrian Ypsilon – A8, section Rogovići – Lupoglav, IGH was engaged for control testing, with a total length of approximately 27 kilometers.
As stated by IGH, the route is divided into five sub-sections. A total of 42 engineering structures are being constructed, including 11 underpasses, three overpasses, 11 viaducts, eight retaining walls, three bridges, two culverts, three road crossings, and one pilot rock. The total value of the investment is 160 million euros.
