EMMA Capital Group, an investment holding focused on emerging markets in Central and Southeast Europe, has completed a growth equity investment in Bazzar, the fastest-growing technology company operating in the e-commerce market in Southeast Europe. EMMA Capital has thus become a new shareholder, while the founders will continue to manage the business and retain significant stakes in the company.
Based on a joint development plan, which will enable the company to accelerate its growth, the revenue will be used to further strengthen Bazzar’s market position in Croatia, as well as to expand into international markets, with a particular emphasis on Southeast Europe.
EMMA Capital’s investment in Bazzar highlights its strategy of focusing on growing companies with international expansion potential. The transaction was signed on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, in Zagreb.
Bazzar’s financial advisor was Grubišić and Partners, a financial consulting firm specializing in corporate finance, while EMMA Capital was financially advised by the law firm Lovrić, Novokmet, Smrček.
