Atlantic Grupa Launches Platform for Artists, Competition Underway

Atlantic Grupa is launching a new web platform called Velika Scena, aimed at promoting talented and promising artists who will have excellent opportunities to launch their own creative stories on this platform. Velika Scena starts in Sarajevo, in partnership with SFF, and is the only platform of its kind in our region, functioning as a place of motivation and support, an online and offline space where freedom of expression will be promoted and young artists will be given the much-needed visibility. Velika Scena is a continuation of the long-term collaboration between Atlantic Grupa and the Festival, with the intention of providing long-term support to culture and art as a universal language.

This is a regional platform of Atlantic Grupa that will be developed and expanded, and it will have space for everyone – musicians, writers, actors, directors, visual creators, with designers being the first to gain space on Velika Scena. All young creatives are invited to apply for the competition for the design of the official coffee cup for the Sarajevo Film Festival, which is open from July 12 to July 31, 2021, and all details regarding the competition are available on the website www.velika-scena.com.

A professional jury consisting of Lejla Begić Vuletić, who has been building the story of the Sarajevo Film Festival as the art director at Boom production, the official design studio of the Festival, Zoran Golub, marketing director of SPP Kava Atlantic Grupa, and Dragan Šašić, art director, will decide on the shortlist among the submitted works, while the three best works will be selected by the audience through voting on the online platform Velika Scena. The best works will be featured in a limited edition of the festival coffee cup, which will be presented at the Sarajevo Film Festival 2022, and of course, monetary prizes will also be awarded. The Velika Scena platform will also be presented to Festival visitors in Sarajevo through a live edition, where works from the shortlist will be exhibited, and visitors will also be able to participate live at a selected festival location in choosing the winning design for the official coffee cup of SFF.
