Matinata, holder of five prestigious medals

Matinata, a Croatian brand of organic cosmetics, is a proud holder of as many as five prestigious medals awarded by the European Free From Skincare Awards for ten consecutive years.

The Free From Skincare Award, a kind of Oscar for natural cosmetics, is awarded to brands as an encouragement and recognition for manufacturers of skincare products that do not contain harmful allergens, preservatives, additives, and fragrances associated with skin sensitivity, and whose business does not create ethical, environmental, and health problems. This award aims to provide a response to consumers who want (or perhaps should) avoid products that harm the skin and the environment in any way.

In just eight months of operation at the prestigious awards, Matinata won a medal in every nominated category. The gold medal was awarded to re.water serum in the Free From Achievement Award category for exceptional achievements of products that are hypoallergenic, meaning they contain little or no substances that cause allergies and contain few preservatives or none at all. In the Best Free From Skincare Brand Award category, the Matinata brand was honored with a silver medal.

Judging included, among other things, brand ethos, Free From qualities, communication activity on online channels, and the eco and green properties of the brand, supporting sustainability attributes in business, etc. Two more silver medals were awarded to the Matinata brand, namely the re.water serum in the best body care product category and re.glow serum as the best oil product. The re.fresh deodorant won a bronze medal.

With this, Matinata achieved additional recognition for its work. It accomplished the impossible by being officially recognized as a high-quality and responsible brand at the very start of its presence in the global natural cosmetics market, placing it alongside the largest global cosmetic houses that have been operating for many years.

Otherwise, Matinata is a double-certified brand (Ecogea Organic and CosmEthically Active) that has scientifically proven cosmetic effects and uses ingredients exclusively of plant origin, which is why it is also vegan-friendly. The awards were announced on July 7, preceded by a rigorous multi-month testing and evaluation process.
