Vladimir Bataković is the new President of the Management Board of Spačva

Vladimir Bataković is the new President of the Management Board of Spačva, as stated in a notice published on the Zagreb Stock Exchange. After Pervanovo took over Spačva, Bataković was appointed as a member of the Management Board in mid-June, alongside Saša Ilić, while the former President of the Management Board Josip Faletar and Management Board members Ante Radoš and Ivan Perković resigned.

With the latest decision of the Supervisory Board, Bataković has become the president of the two-member Management Board of Spačva. Bataković began his career at Spačva as an intern, before moving to Tehno-drvo in Ogulin when Jozo Kalem was the owner. After Darko Pervan took over Tehno-drvo, as well as the Slavonian veneer factory Otok, Bataković was employed at Otok, which had already become an integral part of the Bjelin company. Following the takeover of Spačva by Darko Pervan, Bataković was appointed to this position.

Let us recall that at the beginning of June, Spačva was taken over by the company Pervanovo, owned by the Swedish businessman of Croatian descent Darko Pervan. – The policy of the new owner is to change the members of the management boards when taking over companies. We have fulfilled our task, Spačva is now a quite good company, and given that the new owner is very competent, I believe that its business will continue to progress. My colleagues from the Management Board, who also resigned, and I will build our careers outside of that company – said Faletar after Pervan’s takeover of Spačva.

Although according to previous practices in companies where Pervanovo is the owner, Darko Pervan was appointed as the President of the Management Board, Bataković has now been appointed to lead the company.
