As part of the TeamUp project, Lean Startup Croatia has developed a platform of the same name that enables early-stage startup companies to find co-founders, partners, mentors, or employees.

– Given that we noticed how conventional job search tools are not suitable for finding early collaborators in startup companies because there is often no basis for establishing an employment relationship and formalizing such relationships, we decided to create a place where this is possible – say Filip Stipančić and Miro Hegedić, the founders of the platform.

The TeamUp platform provides an opportunity to expand your team and to advertise the position you offer in just a few clicks and completely free of charge. The idea is for the TeamUp platform to be a kind of business Tinder for all startup enthusiasts!

To get started, you need to register and then follow the steps to post an open opportunity. How simple the process of posting an open position is, is demonstrated by this short tutorial.

The strength and ability of a startup team to realize an idea and carry out a project is extremely significant for entrepreneurial success. Therefore, with this project, we wanted to create opportunities to present the opportunities available in the startup world and thus intervene in the early stages of company development. In addition, one of TeamUp’s goals is to have a positive impact on the startup ecosystem, namely increasing the number of startup teams in the ecosystem and enhancing the quality and capacity of existing teams – say the founders and add that through these activities  they directly contribute to the development of the startup ecosystem and thus create a new generation of startup entrepreneurs.

Currently, there are several open positions on the platform such as marketing specialist, sales representative, UX/UI specialist, Rust developer, etc., to which all interested parties can apply and thus become part of a startup team.
