Croatian Postal Bank has opened a branch and Regional Economic Center in Zadar at a new address – Put Murvice 12D, to make it more accessible to citizens, entrepreneurs, and local government, with faster service and better support, the bank announced.

In the area of the Regional Center Dalmatia – North, which includes Zadar, Lika-Senj, and Šibenik-Knin counties, HPB has more than 60,000 clients. As in the rest of Croatia, HPB also has, they emphasize, the largest network of banking services in this area – out of a total of 58 branches, 9 are in this region, and of the 1,000 post offices where the bank’s offer has been introduced as part of a strategic partnership with Croatian Post, 120 locations are in the mentioned three counties, which is extremely significant for small towns and islands.

– I believe that HPB is not just a large number of branches and that we are not only the most widespread network of banking services in Croatia thanks to our presence in the network of post offices, but that we are also, and most importantly – a great support for achieving your family and life goals, realizing your smaller and larger investment projects, and a reliable partner in the development of your business. HPB is here to support the realization of your plans and as our mission states, we are here to create conditions for a better life in Croatia, especially now – emphasized at the ceremonial opening the CEO of HPB, Marko Badurina.

Badurina expects that some of the significant challenges of everyday life we have faced in the last year and a half are behind us, which allows HPB to focus on the task of ‘being faster and more accessible in the coming period, even more available to clients who need us’.

In the Dalmatia – North region, HPB is recording a steady increase in the number of clients in all segments, and after the successful merger with Adriatic Bank two years ago, it has further strengthened its position. HPB has financed capital infrastructure projects in this part of Dalmatia and is extremely active in subsidized tourism loan programs, providing state aid to entrepreneurs affected by the pandemic, as well as special business collaborations where counties enable subsidized interest rates for small businesses, craftsmen, and entrepreneurship for youth, women, and beginners.

The bank is achieving increasingly better results with APN housing loans for which it has offered the lowest interest rates again this year and is ready for an active role in the upcoming construction of POS apartments.

– We look forward to new joint projects and the growing recognition of HPB as a desirable financial partner throughout our region – said Kristina Špika-Jović, director of the Regional Economic Center for the Dalmatia – North region.

On the occasion of the ceremonial opening in Zadar, the director of the Regional Center for Population Dalmatia – North, Katarina Grabovac, presented a donation worth 40,000 kuna for the renovation of the clinic in Nin to the director of the Health Center of Zadar County, Renata Bek. HPB marks 30 years of operation and 15 years of work in Zadar in 2021.
