Studenac, the main retail chain on the Adriatic, has signed a purchase agreement for 100 percent of the shares in Bure Trgovina d.o.o., a Biograd retail chain operating in 29 retail outlets in the Zadar County and employing 120 employees.
This marks a continuation of the ongoing growth and improvement of operations that Studenac has achieved in recent years, thereby strengthening its leadership position on the Adriatic, as well as its position as one of the leading retail chains in the country. This was confirmed by the recent opening of the first Studenac market in Zagreb, along with the announcement of the opening of additional stores by the end of the year.
„During the pandemic period, which has impacted the entire market, I am extremely pleased that Studenac, despite the challenges we all face, is achieving its business goals and continues to expand and develop its operations. By joining the retail chain Bure Trgovina d.o.o. to the Studenac network, as well as in our previous acquisitions, our goal is to preserve the value that this company represents for its customers, but also to introduce special benefits that Studenac brings to its customers and gradually enrich the overall offer“, stated Michal Senczuk, CEO of Studenac.
At the same time, Senczuk emphasizes that they want to provide new, as well as existing employees, with opportunities for learning and business development based on synergy and teamwork. The corporate values of Studenac are the foundation of its growth and will gradually be integrated into the expanded network of stores.
