What he considers the next good investment opportunity, which sectors are attractive, and what he plans to invest in the future was revealed by Michał Kędzia, a partner at the private equity fund Enterprise Investors, in the InvestLab podcast by Mirna Marović. The Polish Enterprise Investors is one of the largest private equity companies in Central and Eastern Europe, and in Croatia, they have invested in Studenac and Pan-Pek.
– Last year brought us many unusual insights. We are monitoring the GDP situation in this region. A crisis is underway. At the same time, personal savings are at the highest level worldwide. We should probably expect a significant increase in consumption after the lifting of restrictions. Therefore, we will track the flow of money and companies focused on consumption. Consumer-focused companies could be the right choice – said Kedzia.
On the other hand, he adds, there are also several very interesting opportunities in the region in the IT and 'e-commerce' sector. Online shopping thrived while physical stores were closed, and it remains highly successful today. – Behind 'e-commerce' are many software and IT companies in the region. We are already collaborating with some, and we are negotiating with others, and I think this hints at yet another interesting opportunity – says Kedzia.
