INA Fire Services Awarded Employer Partner Certificate

In April, INA Fire Services, HOLDINA Sarajevo, and INA – MONTENEGRO became holders of the Employer Partner Certificate and thus joined other members of the INA Group, companies CROSCO, STSI, INA MAZIVA, Top Accounting Services, Blue Team, and INA Retail Services, which are also holders of this prestigious recognition for employee management.

The Employer Partner Certificate (CEP) was launched in 2005 with the mission of promoting quality employee management, and to date, more than 120 companies have participated in it. CEP is an independent professional recognition awarded to employers based on the assessment of the development of their employee management practices in five main areas. The areas evaluated are the quality of employee management strategy, recruitment processes, performance management, employee education and development, and practices related to the employer-employee relationship, which include transparent communication with employees, surveys of their satisfaction, and practices that promote health and balance in their private and professional lives. To meet the standards required to obtain the CEP, a company must achieve at least 75% of the total possible points, as well as at least 70% of points in each of the 5 evaluated areas.

INA Fire Services particularly stood out in the certification process for its quality recruitment processes, performance management, and care for employee well-being, as well as a strategically oriented HR function. The certification team especially praised this INA company for its systematic workforce planning, well-designed selection processes that include regular updates to job candidates about their status in the competition, and excellent practices for onboarding new employees. Additionally, the company was commended for its successful employee performance tracking system and numerous initiatives that promote a healthy lifestyle for employees and balance in their private and professional lives.

– I am extremely pleased that such a young company – namely, INA Fire Services was established less than two years ago – has successfully passed the process of obtaining the Employer Partner Certificate. I would like to thank my colleagues from INA’s Human Resources who have been a great support to us throughout all our activities in this area, as well as in this process. We achieved a very good result of 93 percent, and we will take the feedback on areas where we can improve as motivation for future work. Being a firefighter is not just a job but a calling, and we will continue to do our best to ensure that our employees are satisfied, motivated, and well rewarded for the valuable and important work they do day in and day out,” emphasized Josip Vrabec, director of INA Fire Services.

Currently, there are 67 holders of the Certificate in Croatia, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Russia, Slovenia, and Serbia. The Employer Partner Certificate project is supported by the general sponsor portal MojPosao and the business weekly Lider as a media sponsor.
