BIZIT 2020: Cyber security in the focus of the new reality

The circumstances in which we work and live in recent months have elevated the topic of cyber security to the top of public interest, motivating the organizers to highlight this topic as key in the program of the upcoming event. The largest regional business conference – BIZIT – will be held on November 4 and 5 in Belgrade, and all interested participants from Croatia will be able to participate interactively online.

A recent Microsoft study indicates that an alarming number of companies are still affected by phishing scams related to Covid-19. These issues have been further exacerbated by budget constraints for cyber security and challenges related to hiring qualified personnel. Despite the fact that a significant budget should be allocated for hiring security experts, it has been shown that 80% of companies are willing to take this step in response to the Covid-19 situation. Microsoft’s security solutions, as well as many other relevant protective systems, will be discussed at the BIZIT conference, and interested parties will be able to hear firsthand about all backup and disaster recovery solutions, trends in antivirus and physical security, the application of GDPR, and online child protection.

At this year’s two-day conference dedicated to digital transformation in the new reality, visitors will have the opportunity to listen to lectures from eminent experts in the fields of IT and business, such as Prof. Dr. Dejan Šoškić, full professor at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade, Boris Vukić, advisor at the Adizes SEE Institute, Vojislav Žanetić, creative director and co-owner of the marketing agency B.C.A. MOZAIK, and many others.
