Expensive designer protective masks in the still ongoing COVID-19 season have received fierce and, for now, unbeatable competition. A Chinese businessman with an American address has decided to cover his nose and mouth with a golden protective mask adorned with 3,600 diamonds worth a staggering 1.5 million dollars, reports Luxury Launches.

The still unknown client, known only to be a Chinese entrepreneur living in the USA, entrusted the Israeli jewelry store Yvel with the delicate task of creating a masterpiece – the most expensive mask for protection against the coronavirus in the world. Unlike the golden mask belonging to Indian Shankar Kurade, the new most luxurious mask made of 18-karat white gold and white and black diamonds will indeed serve its purpose. It will be equipped with N99 protective filters. 

Moreover, Yvel’s owner Isaac Levy has received two more tasks. The first is to have the mask completed by the end of the year, and the second is to make it the most expensive in the world. Levy has shown several parts of the future ‘fashion-conscious’ medical mask, which will contain 270 grams of gold. Take a look!
