At today’s meeting of the Executive Board of the Croatian Employers’ Association Dr. sc. Damir Zorić, the current acting director of HUP, was elected as the new chief executive officer of the Association. The decision of the Executive Board regarding the appointment of the chief executive officer takes effect on September 1, 2020, according to the statement.
Damir Zorić was born in 1960. He graduated and obtained his doctorate at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb, where he worked until 1991. Since 2002, he has been working in insurance, becoming a member of the Management Board of Sunce osiguranje d.d. Zagreb in 2005, and in 2009, he became the president of the Management Board of Euroherc osiguranje d.d. Zagreb, where he currently serves as a procurator. He has been a long-time active member of the Executive Board of the Croatian Employers’ Association.
