Mario Delić is no longer the director of DIRUS PROJECT. His position has been taken over by Darko Mitrović and Branka Medjugorac, who is also the owner through her company GOLDEN TRIO. DIRUS PROJECT purchased the properties of Sarajevo’s ENERGOINVEST in Croatia in 2015 – 15 gas stations, an office building, and an oil terminal. It offered 6.6 million euros with the obligation to invest 3.1 million euros over three years and take over 61 employees of ENERGOINVEST CROATIA. However, only 112 thousand convertible marks were paid as a deposit and fee (about 57 thousand euros) for participation in the tender.
Former director of Energoinvest Enes Čengić and former director of the Privatization Agency of FBiH Šuhret Fazlić signed a purchase agreement without securing a payment method, and the assets were immediately handed over to DIRUS PROJECT. Criminal charges have been filed against the two in Sarajevo. The buyer refuses to pay because he is not sure that ENERGOINVEST can prove ownership of the sold assets, which it holds in extrajudicial ownership, but with a court ban on disposal imposed by the Croatian Ministry of Justice. The main reason that DIRUS PROJECT cites in its letters to the management of ENERGOINVEST is the inability to lift that ban due to a lack of documentation.
In December 2016, the management of ENERGOINVEST filed a lawsuit against DIRUS PROJECT at the Commercial Court in Zagreb.
In the bankruptcy proceedings against ENERGOINVEST CROATIA, claims of about 2.5 million kuna were recognized for DIRUS PROJECT.
