The supplement presents the beauty and tourist offerings of Croatia with an emphasis on nautical tourism, eno-gastronomy, active and cultural tourism, destinations where famous world series and films were filmed, and portrays Croatia as a safe tourist destination, the announcement states, reminding that Daily Mail is one of the best-selling publications in the British market with a daily circulation of over one million copies and a reach of two million readers.

HTZ Director Kristjan Staničić emphasizes that the implementation of intensive promotional campaigns in the British market began in early July, from the moment the British placed us on the list of safe countries.

– In addition to advertising and calling campaigns and informative messages about traveling to Croatia, this supplement will contribute to further positioning Croatia as a safe and desirable tourist destination in Great Britain. From this market, we expect a more intense realization of tourist traffic considering that numerous airlines connecting British destinations such as London, Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Birmingham, Bristol, and others with Croatian airports have started operations – said Staničić, adding that this is particularly important for the favorite destinations of the British in Croatia namely destinations in the central and southern parts of Dalmatia where British tourists most often stay.

According to eVisitor system data, there are currently about six thousand British tourists in Croatia, with the highest numbers currently in the Dubrovnik-Neretva and Split-Dalmatia counties.
