Given that Styria Digital Development highly values the development and training of its employees, it is not surprising that as many as 97% attended additional training that is not legally required in 2019. The company provides employees with the opportunity to attend lectures, seminars, workshops, training, and conferences in Croatia or abroad on topics of personal and professional development as well as the development of professional knowledge and skills. A practice they are particularly proud of and which has been developed internally is the system of performance evaluations and the creation of individual development plans for employees. Through this system, employees can clearly manage their careers and have a transparent path through levels of seniority, and thus pay grades.

During 2019, Styria Digital Development also participated in various projects and events aimed at bringing students and young people who are about to enter the labor market closer. Through their Styria:SCOOL Academy organized at the level of the entire Styria Media Group, students from various faculties had the opportunity to learn about the functioning of the media house through a series of lectures, workshops, and visits to different departments, as well as through independent case study preparation. In addition, the company participates in open days at various faculties such as the FER Job Fair, FOI Career Week, VERN Career Days, and various competitions and conferences such as the Vizionar competition, LEAP Summit, TEDx University, as well as other activities organized by student associations such as the FER Freshmen’s Day and FER Open Air.

Sanja Jasprica, Senior HR Business Partner, received the Employer Partner certificate from Aleksandar Zemunić, a member of the Management Board of SELECTIO.
