Counting Trucks (14): ENNA Fruit has exported 640 truckloads of goods since the beginning of the year, over 250 in the last two months

The leading company for the organization of production, procurement, distribution, and processing of fruits and vegetables in Croatia and the region ENNA Fruit has exported as many as 640 truckloads of goods, of which over 250 truckloads in the past two months.

As the production, processing, and export season of fruits, vegetables, and canned fruits and vegetables heats up during the summer, this company is expected to achieve record export results.

The main markets during this period were Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, and other countries (trucks are dispatched daily), while an increase in exports is expected during August due to the seasonal nature of the products. Initial projections indicate an increase of about 80 trucks per month, especially when the mandarin season and other items from domestic agricultural production arrive. 

Since the beginning of the year, an excellent financial performance has also been achieved, with the export value exceeding 55 million kuna.

Given that ENNA Fruit has a strategic plan to export more Croatian fruits and vegetables to foreign markets, the company constantly invites producers to cooperate. ENNA FRUIT collaborates with several thousand cooperators, working on vertical and horizontal integration of producers through cooperative relationships to ensure the transfer of knowledge and technologies as well as procurement and sales markets.

– The Croatian fruit and vegetable market is relatively small, and market consolidation is of strategic importance for both agricultural producers and buyers. Producers receive specialized infrastructure that will enable them the easiest access to the market, while buyers receive high-quality goods prepared for use to the highest standards. We connect primary agricultural production and the market through cooperative relationships, our own procurement centers, processing, and distribution of the entire range of fruits and vegetables. This approach to customers ensures quality, continuity, and quantity – the company states.

The production facility for processing fruits and vegetables is one of the most modern in the region and is located in Slatina. Procurement centers, specialized in the procurement, storage, and packaging of fresh fruits and vegetables, are located in Donji Miholjac, Lozan, Varaždin, and Opuzen. Processed, or pasteurized, fruits and vegetables are produced in the most modern production facility in the region. The range of pasteurized products is divided into three production programs: sweet (jams, fruit spreads, preserves, and compotes), sour (pickles, peppers, beets, chili peppers, ajvar, and mixed salad), and HoReCa program. Products are sold under private labels of retail chains and the company’s own brand DoOra.

Until now, tourists entering Croatia have been counted (to avoid misunderstanding, every tourist is worth their weight in gold), and Lider begins to count trucks leaving our borders with goods for sale.
