– The aim of the program is to provide financial support to entrepreneurs engaged in activities in the maritime, transport, transport infrastructure, and related sectors to mitigate the effects of the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic on their business operations. Subsidies will be granted as state guarantees for new liquidity loans, and eligible beneficiaries are small, medium, and large enterprises operating in the maritime, transport, transport infrastructure, and related sectors within the territory of Croatia – states the announcement.
The implementing bodies of the program are the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR) and the Croatian Agency for Small Business, Innovation and Investment (Hamag-Bicro), which will allocate individual subsidies to beneficiaries who meet the program requirements.
Thus, HBOR and Hamag-Bicro will provide subsidies in the form of guarantees for new loans from section "3.1. Limited Amounts of Subsidies", with a maximum planned amount of 200 million kuna, and from section "3.2. Subsidy in the form of loan guarantees", for which a maximum amount of 400 million kuna is planned.
Otherwise, the Government adopted the Program for the Allocation of State Subsidies to the Maritime, Transport, Transport Infrastructure, and Related Sectors, worth 600 million kuna, at a meeting in early July.
