Today in Croatia: NCVV announces the results of the State Matura, meeting of the Presidency and National Council of HDZ…

ZAGREB – The National Center for External Evaluation (NCVV) will announce the results of the State Matura exams, which were held this year in two blocks. In the first exam block, which took place from June 8 to June 24, high school graduates took exams in Croatian language, foreign language, mathematics, and the mother tongues of national minorities. In the second exam block from June 25 to July 3, elective subjects were taken. Graduates have until July 15 to file complaints, and the final results will be published on July 20.

ZAGREB – A joint meeting of the Presidency and National Council of HDZ will be held (4 PM, Westin Hotel, Izidora Kršnjavog 1). After that, in the same hall, a meeting of the Central Committee of HDZ will take place, starting at 5 PM. The meeting will analyze the results of HDZ in the parliamentary elections and appoint a new Secretary General of HDZ. Instead of Gordan Jandroković, his current deputy and State Secretary in the Ministry of State Property, Krunoslav Katičić, is expected to take over this position.

ZAGREB – The National Council for the introduction of the euro as the official currency in the Republic of Croatia will hold a meeting. Videographers and photo reporters can capture the beginning of the meeting, after which statements for the media are planned (meeting starts at 10 AM, Banski dvori).

ČAKOVEC – Minister of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure Oleg Butković will participate in the ceremony for the opening of Phase I of the northern bypass of the City of Čakovec. The works on the first phase were completed four months ahead of schedule, and the total value of the first phase of the bypass of the City of Čakovec, which is 1.64 kilometers long, amounts to a total of 37.4 million kuna, excluding VAT (11 AM, at the roundabout location between Svetojelenska and Globetka Street).
