AR Packaging Croatia from Kanfanar is starting a new investment cycle in August, announced the largest producer of commercial cardboard packaging in Croatia and the region on Monday.
– The investment is focused on the procurement and installation of a modern printing machine with eight colors, segment varnish, and UV technology. This will increase process efficiency and capacities, says Enis Kancelir, director of AR Packaging Croatia, adding that the goal is to grow by more than 20 percent in the upcoming period.
He emphasizes that the need for safe and hygienic packaging has increased with the emergence of the coronavirus.
– Safe and hygienic packaging can save lives during a crisis like the coronavirus pandemic, and with its high standards, the modern packaging industry is qualified to offer boxes and a complete range of products that help limit the spread of the pandemic. The main priority for the packaging industry remains to deliver optimized packaging – said Kancelir.
AR Packaging Croatia, formerly Istragrafika from Kanfanar, is a member of the AR Packaging Group, one of the leading European groups in the packaging sector with net sales exceeding 900 million euros, 5,500 employees, and 28 factories in 13 countries.
The company in Kanfanar employs more than 130 employees and exports its products to more than ten European countries.
In 2019, it achieved a production growth of seven percent and processed more than eight thousand tons of cardboard, the statement says.
