It is time for Audi to refresh the compact SUV model Q5, which has been on the market since 2017. The new version is based on the company’s MLBevo platform. The news about the new Q5 applies to all models, including plug-in hybrid version. The Q5 still carries the Q design expression and character, which means it is characterized by a strong and robust appearance. The exterior is rich in recognizable details.
Wood, leather, and technology
The new standard LED front and rear lights give the Audi a slightly more aggressive look, and the characteristic octagonal single-frame (eng. single-frame) grille is thinner but also wider than before. There is also a slightly larger air intake on the bumpers, the side sills have also been redesigned, and the rear end features a strip connecting the rear lights.
The new version of the Q5 is 19 millimeters longer than its predecessor, the width remains the same, and the trunk capacity is 550 liters (1,550 liters with the rear seats down).
The interior of the Q5 has been refreshed with walnut wood and leather accents. In technology, nothing is lacking. Among the elegant lines that adorn the interior of the new Audi is a 10.1-inch touchscreen multimedia display that can be paired with Audi’s digital cockpit and all smartphones.
