In a statement from the Association Voice of Entrepreneurs (UGP), it is stated that there is still no response from the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Tourism regarding the resolution of the problems of temporary transport and other activities with leasing companies, despite all deadlines promised by the ruling party having expired.
It is added that carriers have been failing since the support for minimum wages was abolished and that they have begun layoffs, with the start of returning vehicles to leasing companies expected soon due to inability to pay.
– Companies will likely face liquidation after that, especially those that do not own at least part of their vehicles – say UGP.
The president of UGP, Hrvoje Bujas, complains about the Government’s and ministers’ ignorance.
– During the election campaign, they promise mountains and valleys, billions in aid from the European Union, the opening of 100,000 jobs, while their inaction directly destroys the entire industry and sends 20,000 people to the unemployment office – says Bujas.
