While all of Dalmatia has its eyes on Great Britain and their air tourists, who could start arriving in larger numbers after July 6, as that country has placed Croatia on 'green' list of countries, meaning it is safe for British travelers who, upon return, will not have to undergo a 14-day self-isolation, tourist agencies are also recording increased bookings from the Scandinavian market. Judging by the first announcements, alongside the British, the first air guests from Sweden, Norway, and Denmark could start arriving by plane as early as July.

– The largest tour operators from the Scandinavian region have also announced arrivals, and there is increasing booking from the German market, which is why our optimism is growing that we will open all hotels at our destinations by the end of July – said Stjepko Šošić, Director of Revenue Management at Bluesun Hotels & Resorts, adding that there is also a very strong trend of last-minute bookings. In addition to foreigners, the discounts offered by the company have attracted a good portion of domestic guests.

– If bookings continue at this pace, by mid-July we could catch up to the numbers from the same period last year – said Šošić.
