Mercedes has continued to refresh its models, and now it is the turn of the AMG version of the E-Class. Last week, the updated sedan and the popular E-Class wagon were presented on the track in Immendingen. The model comes in two versions: Mercedes-AMG E63 4MATIC+ with 571 HP and 750 Nm of torque, and Mercedes-AMG E63 S 4MATIC+ with 612 HP and 850 Nm of torque.
Weaker and stronger version
Under the hood is a 4-liter V8 engine combined with an AMG Speedshift MCT nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive 4MATIC+. The weaker version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, while the more powerful S version takes 3.4 seconds, and the wagon takes a fraction longer, which is negligible.

When it comes to top speed, it is limited to 250 km/h, but the more powerful S version can reach up to 300 km/h, resulting in an average consumption of around 12 liters. Both cars offer several driving modes: Comfort, Slippery, Sport, Sport+, Individual, and Race, with an added Drift option that transfers power to the rear wheels, which is not recommended unless you are on a track.
Luxurious and expensive
The appearance of the AMG model features a Panamericana grille, which immediately indicates that it is this model, along with 19-inch wheels, new Multibeam LED lights, and a new bumper with slightly larger air intakes. The interior of the car is dominated by two 12.25-inch screens, one of which is a touch-sensitive multimedia display, while the other replaces the classic instrument panel.
