Starting tonight at midnight the obligation to wear masks in public transport for passengers and drivers, as well as the obligation of self-isolation for individuals entering Croatia from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Serbia, was reported by the National Civil Protection Headquarters on Wednesday.
– A special entry regime is established for individuals coming from BiH, Kosovo, Serbia, and North Macedonia. These individuals will be required to self-isolate for 14 days upon entering Croatia. The isolation obligation does not apply to passengers transiting through Croatia – said Davor Božinović, head of the National Civil Protection Headquarters, at a press conference.
Božinović also reported that the headquarters made another decision regarding the obligation to wear medical masks or face masks in public transport.
– Drivers, other employees, and passengers will be required to use medical masks or protective face masks. A passenger who does not have a medical mask or face mask must not be offered service by the public transport provider – said Božinović.
Both decisions come into effect tonight at midnight.
