In recent months, Fiat has released photographs of the new 500 model in electric form, but only in the convertible version, and now the hardtop model has been shown as well. The new Fiat 500 la Prima is built on a completely new platform for the entire next decade and ensures greater competitive range and even greater autonomy.
Smart and adaptable
La Prima will be the first city car to provide a second level of autonomous driving, which means it will be able to autonomously accelerate, brake, stay in its lane, read traffic signs, and suggest a target speed accordingly.
Its eyes will also be wide open to spot pedestrians and cyclists, thanks to a 360° bird’s-eye view camera, and its completely new 10-inch technologically advanced infotainment system will become a natural extension of your smartphone, thanks to ultra-fast Bluetooth pairing, a wireless charging slot, and wireless integration with the Apple Car Play app.

The new Fiat 500 is also packed with technology, some of which include intelligent adaptive cruise control, lane centering, traffic jam assistance, blind spot monitoring, HD rear parking camera with dynamic guidelines, emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, and driver concentration monitoring. In terms of appearance, the front of the car features new LED lights and 17-inch wheels, which enhance its attractiveness. At the rear, we can also expect LED lights, and the car will initially be available in three colors: Celestial Blue, Mineral Grey, and Ocean Green.
