Ground X, the blockchain subsidiary of South Korean internet giant Kakao and developer of Klaytn, launched the Klip blockchain digital wallet service on June 3.
Available in KakaoTalk, the messaging app used by over 90% of the South Korean population, Klip allows users to manage their digital assets on mobile devices. Users can log into Klip using their existing Kakao accounts.
A digital wallet that is simple and convenient enough for those without prior experience with blockchain technology
Klip users can securely store and easily transfer digital assets obtained from the Klaytn blockchain application. The Klaytn platform is a global public blockchain platform also developed by Ground X, and as of June 3, Klip supports 11 cryptocurrencies, including Klaytn’s own token called KLAY. However, the number of cryptocurrencies supported by Klip will gradually increase.
Klip is designed to be a wallet intended for everyone, including those with little knowledge of blockchain or crypto assets. To achieve this, Klip focuses on optimizing usability, security, and accessibility.
