We will continue to sell everything that is inadequate in the portfolio of state assets and where Croatia does not have a significant share in the management package, but has found itself in co-ownership, stated the Minister of State Assets Mario Banožić on Monday.
''This is mostly about co-ownership that did not arise as a process of privatization but as state assistance because at the same time an economic and social policy was being conducted to save jobs and companies that may not have been performing well economically'', specified Banožić after signing the Contract for financing the project "Improvement of the system for recording and managing state assets" at the Central State Office for the Development of the Digital Society.
Speaking about trends in managing state assets, Banožić added that the ministry has adopted a strategic plan based on which it achieves 280 million kuna in profit from sold real estate and business shares.
In this way, the ministry is achieving everything that has been outlined so far, says Banožić, emphasizing that last year this plan was exceeded by 40 percent.
''We continue to work according to the plan, while it is not significantly felt that the coronavirus and the earthquake in Zagreb have affected the real estate market. We believe that we will achieve the plan for this year already in the first half of it'', said Banožić.
