The Knowledge Center of Međimurje County will receive IT and security equipment for its new building. The contract was signed by County Prefect Matija Posavec and the directors of Bukal Elektronika from Čakovec and Bitel from Kotoriba Žarko Bukal and Stanislav Petrac, after a public procurement process. Bukal will deliver and install IT equipment worth 708 thousand kuna by the beginning of July, while Bitel’s video surveillance and anti-burglary system will cost 55 thousand kuna.
This is, by the way, the third building of the Technology and Innovation Center Međimurje (TICM) business incubator in the Knowledge Center of Međimurje County, and the equipping is part of the project Investment in the Expansion of Business Infrastructure in the Knowledge Center of Međimurje County, which is financed by the European Regional Development Fund. The 600 square meter building has 18 offices, almost all of which are already reserved, and users will have access to an IT classroom, meeting rooms, a kitchen, and a pleasant space for socializing.
The total value of the investment in the reconstruction and equipping of the TICM3 building amounts to 7.6 million kuna. Along with Međimurje County as the lead partner, the project partners are TICM, which prepared the project application and managed the entire project, and the Public Institution for the Development of Međimurje County REDEA.
