According to unofficial information from the portal cijenegoriva.info, there could be an INCREASE IN PRICES of all petroleum derivatives in Croatia on Tuesday. Namely, the average tank of 50 liters eurosuper 95 could be MORE EXPENSIVE by 8.5 kuna. The average tank of 50 liters eurodiesel could be MORE EXPENSIVE by 7.5 kuna, while the average tank of 50 liters of autogas could INCREASE by 6 kuna. For now, this is the information from the market, but if there are any changes, Lider will, of course, announce it.
Let us remind you, oil prices in global markets rose last week for the sixth consecutive time, as OPEC and its partners maintained their decision to reduce production, while demand for oil is expected to increase as the world’s largest economies gradually recover from the coronavirus crisis. On the London market, the price of a barrel rose by 19.2 percent last week, to 42.30 dollars, while on the American market, the barrel increased by 10.7 percent, to 39.55 dollars.
Although crude oil barrel prices do not directly affect fuel prices in Croatia, they indicate a trend. However, even though barrel prices have been rising steadily for weeks, fuel prices in Croatia have behaved somewhat differently. Namely, last week there was a slight correction in the prices of petroleum derivatives in Croatia, despite the rise in barrel prices for five weeks. This is likely also ‘responsible’ for the exchange rate of the dollar. It is worth mentioning that the average exchange rate last week was 1.8 percent lower than the week before, and therefore it can be assumed that this week’s increase is not significant.
