The Slovenian technology company nyd for healthcare digitization is entering the Croatian market. They are currently finalizing agreements with the first set of healthcare collaborators and partners from Croatia.
– We will start with free remote video consultations with healthcare professionals on the first of June! All doctors, dentists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and other professionals can join us and offer their hour a week for free consultations to those in need – say the founders of the nyd.care project Aljoša Praznik, Klemen Rupnik, and Boštjan Antolič, who are building the healthcare system of the future.
The healthcare model as we know it is becoming increasingly unfeasible. Therefore, as in other industries, the healthcare system should be improved to enhance the availability and quality of services, and digitization plays a key role in providing better healthcare services to the wider public and those who need it most, explain the team at nyd.
– We would like to prove that video consultation is even more effective than visiting a doctor or another medical professional in their practice. We would connect experts and users or patients via computer or mobile device – explain the founders. In any case, the service they provide will likely reduce the panic ‘googling’ of symptoms and self-diagnosis based on unverified sources of information, which can lead to untimely treatment of issues.
