For Croatia, 10 billion non-repayable euro are allocated, which should help in the economic recovery after the crisis caused by the pandemic. Prime Minister Andrej Plenković stated that the documents presented by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, especially the Union’s economic recovery plan, are important for all member states, including Croatia.
The European Commission has presented a plan called "Next Generation EU" which has a planned 750 billion euros in support for member states, and will also come up with a proposal for the allocation of 1100 billion euros within the multiannual financial framework.
"For Croatia, something more than 10 billion euros is planned, of which 7.3 billion are non-repayable funds, and 2.65 billion are possible loans," confirmed Plenković, explaining that this is money intended for the recovery of the Croatian economy in the next four years.
