According to unofficial information from the portal cijenegoriva.info, there could be an INCREASE in the prices of all petroleum derivatives in Croatia on Tuesday. Specifically, the average tank of 50 liters of eurosuper 95 could be MORE EXPENSIVE by 17.5 kuna. The average tank of 50 liters of eurodiesel could INCREASE by 15 kuna, while the average tank of 50 liters of autogas could INCREASE by 10 kuna. For now, this is the information from the market, but if there are any changes, Lider will, of course, announce it.
Namely, oil prices on global markets rose last week, the fourth consecutive week, and are currently the highest since March, as many countries around the world are gradually resuming economic activities, considering the slowdown in the spread of the coronavirus, and a recovery in demand is expected. On the London market, the price of a barrel rose by 8 percent last week, to $35.13, while on the American market, the barrel increased by about 13 percent, to $33.25. Thus, during that period, barrel prices jumped by 84 percent!
In the last four weeks, oil prices have significantly increased as many countries are easing the restrictive measures imposed to curb the spread of the coronavirus, leading to a revival of economic activity and stronger demand for oil. However, oil prices are still about 40 percent lower compared to the beginning of the year as the paralysis of the world’s largest economies due to the corona crisis in March and April caused a sharp decline in demand.
