Today in Croatia: Prime Minister hands over contracts important for Zadar, Štromar in Prelog…

ZADAR – Prime Minister Andrej Plenković will participate in the ceremony of handing over contracts important for the city of Zadar (10:30 AM, City Administration, Narodni trg 1). Plenković will hand over contracts for "Construction of infrastructure for the business zone Crno – phase I", "Development and implementation of an intelligent traffic system and reconstruction of the road with prioritization of public transport vehicles and a bicycle lane in the city of Zadar", "Renovation of the complex of the former church and monastery of St. Nicholas in Zadar" and a contract for the project "University scientific-teaching infrastructure for the 21st century". After that, he will visit the Zadar Market, City Walls, and Technical School, and at 5:30 PM the construction site of the Pelješac Bridge in Komarna. 

PRELOG – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction Predrag Štromar will be on a working visit to Prelog, where new POS apartments will be built. A meeting with representatives of the City of Prelog and APN will be held in the City Hall (10 AM, Glavna 35).

The topic of the conference is an open letter from Gordan Maras to Prime Minister Andrej Plenković regarding the government’s Decision on financing rent for housing assistance for individuals whose properties were damaged in the earthquake in the City of Zagreb, Zagreb County, and Krapina-Zagorje County, as well as the issue of housing for those who lost their homes in the earthquake. The speakers will be the president of the SDP City Committee Zagreb Gordan Maras and the president of the Donji grad City District Council Petar Paradžik.

ZAGREB – In crafts and freelance professions in Croatia at the end of March, there were 181,959 employed, which is a decrease of 1.1 percent or 2,009 persons compared to the end of February, according to data from the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (DZS).
