BAT Named Employer Partner for the Second Consecutive Year in Croatia and BiH

Companies within the BAT group, TDR in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, have been awarded the Employer Partner certificate for the second consecutive year. This prestigious certificate is awarded to companies with excellent human resource management practices and high-quality standards, granted by the consulting firm SELECTIO.

BAT is ranked among the companies in Croatia and BiH that meet the highest standards of human resource management, which confirms that the high global standards for which the BAT group has been winning global best employer certificates for several years are successfully transferred to local markets. BAT pays special attention to the performance management system and the competency management system used in the selection and development of employees. Additionally, equal opportunities for all employees are rooted in the way of doing business, as well as in all HR processes, positively impacting employee satisfaction and their efficiency.

In order for a company to receive the Employer Partner certificate, it undergoes an independent evaluation process of as many as 45 human resource management processes in 5 main areas – Strategy, Recruitment and Selection, Performance Management, Training and Development, and Employee Relations. The certificate is awarded if the company achieves at least 75% of the total possible points, and in each individual area, a minimum of 70% of possible points must be achieved. The Employer Partner project was launched 14 years ago by the SELECTIO Group.

Currently, there are 64 certificate holders in Croatia, Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Russia, Slovenia, and Serbia.
