[VIDEO] Sports versions of the Giulia and Stelvio models hit the market

After announcing the refreshed Giulia and Stelvio models for this summer, Alfa Romeo has now virtually presented their sports versions Quadrifoglio. Although visual changes are not in the foreground, real changes have occurred in the interiors of both cars.

As for the drivetrain, everything remains the same, which is not a bad thing as it features a very powerful 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that produces 510 hp and 600 Nm of torque.

Intelligent solutions

The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The models differ in that the Giulia Quadrifoglio has rear-wheel drive, while the Stelvio Quadrifoglio has all-wheel drive. Both models still feature the standard Alfa Active Torque Vectoring system. Both models are now equipped with the ADAS system developed by Alfa Romeo in collaboration with Bosch, which offers a second level of autonomous driving.

Both cars share systems such as adaptive cruise control, fatigue recognition systems, intelligent speed regulation, highway assistance systems, and active blind spot detection systems. New features include Akrapovič’s titanium exhaust and slightly different rear lights. There is also a V-shaped front grille and a rear spoiler made of carbon fiber.

Many innovations

The interiors of both cars have changed significantly. There are many innovations, but the leather steering wheel and gear shift stand out, along with the redesigned center console that now has more storage space. There are also seat belts in colors, red or green, for which an additional charge is required.

The new infotainment system is 8.8 inches, of course, touch-sensitive, and comes with new software that displays various information about the car’s engine.
