Entrepreneurs who have been approved for the payment of support for preserving jobs for April, and who feel deceived because they did not receive the funds they are entitled to, the Croatian Employment Service will pay the difference by the end of today or at the latest at the beginning of next week.
The problem arose because entrepreneurs expected to receive 4,000 kuna for each employee, as they requested, as it was communicated, but not everything went according to plan and agreement. Many of them received dramatically lower amounts of support for preserving jobs and wondered – is this it?!
According to some entrepreneurs, those who requested support for, for example, three employees, received funds only for two, while some among them instead of the initially offered 4,000 kuna, received only 3,250 kuna for each employee. There are not even any rules; some received one amount, others another, and it turns out that only a few are satisfied and that even fewer received exactly what was communicated would be paid out.

Let us remind you, the support is paid to employers’ accounts in the amount of 3,250 kuna for March and 4,000 kuna for April and May per employee, if requested, which they 'are obliged to pay to workers as regular wages'.
– We do not understand what this means now, will we receive the remaining funds by the end of the month, will we be left without that remainder, we hoped for one amount, we received another. We just started working after two months and honestly, the situation is not great, so literally every kuna counts – confided to Lider a beautician who wishes to remain anonymous.
