ZAGREB – The Croatian Parliament will today consider the Proposal for the Law on National Compensation for the Elderly, which ensures conditions for the realization of the right to national compensation for individuals who have not earned income from work, i.e., those who have no income or have insufficient income. The proposal establishes Croatian citizenship, an age of 65 years, and residence in Croatia for a continuous period of 20 years immediately before submitting the application for the right to national compensation (9:30 AM, Croatian Parliament, St. Mark’s Square 6).

ZAGREB – A press conference will be held at St. Mark’s Square, in front of the Croatian Parliament, by parliamentary representative of the Most party Marko Sladoljev and member of the Zagreb Most Mario Ćurić regarding, as they state, the government’s announcement that due to the corona crisis, funds intended for persons with disabilities will be taken away (11 AM).

ZAGREB – The president of the Club of City Representatives of the Civil Liberal Alliance (GLAS) and the Croatian Pensioners’ Party (HSU), Anka Mrak-Taritaš, and city representative Sonja Koenig will hold a press conference on the topic: Continuation of the 33rd session of the City Assembly of the City of Zagreb (10 AM, Old City Hall, St. Cyril and Methodius 5, ground floor, wedding hall II).

ZAGREB – The president of the Club of Independent Representatives Renato Petek and city representative Marijana Sumpor (NLZG) will hold a press conference on the topic "The Reconstruction of Zagreb after the Earthquake: Opportunity or Disaster?
