Atlantic Grupa – Dividend of 25 kuna per share, SEVEN kuna less than last year

Shareholders of Atlantic Grupa are expected to receive a dividend of 25 kuna per share, amounting to a total payout of 83.1 million kuna from retained earnings from 2018 and part of the profit from last year, it was announced on Wednesday from Atlantic in a statement regarding the held meetings of the Supervisory Board and Management. The Management and Supervisory Board meetings were held on Tuesday, during which proposals were discussed and accepted, including the dividend payout proposal, which will be submitted for approval to the general assembly scheduled for June 18, as stated in the announcement via the Zagreb Stock Exchange.

Atlantic Grupa achieved a net consolidated profit after minority interests of 388.9 million kuna in 2019, while the net profit of Atlantic Grupa d.d. amounts to 187.6 million kuna.

The Supervisory Board accepted the Management’s proposal to make a decision on the dividend payout in the total amount of 83.1 million kuna, which amounts to 25 kuna per share, and it will be paid from retained earnings from 2018 and part of the profit from 2019. The remaining net profit for the business year 2019, amounting to 110.3 million kuna, will remain in retained earnings, as proposed by the Management and Supervisory Board, which will be submitted to the general assembly announced for June 18. 

It was also proposed that the dividend be paid to shareholders of Atlantic Grupa who are registered in the Central Clearing Depository on June 25, 2020, with the date from which the shares of Atlantic will be traded without the right to dividend payout being June 24, and the proposed dividend payout date is July 15.

The proposed dividend of 25 kuna per share is 7 kuna lower than what was paid to Atlantic shareholders last year. Last year, a total of 106.59 million kuna was paid for the dividend, or 32 kuna per share, from retained earnings from 2003, 2004, 2015, and 2017, as well as part of the profit from 2018.

The majority owner of Atlantic Grupa is Emil Tedeschi, who holds 50.2 percent of the shares, 5.8 percent of the company is owned by Lade Tedeschi Fiorio, while pension funds hold 33 percent of the shares, etc.
