From the Sale of State Real Estate an Additional 103 Million Kuna in the Budget

The Ministry of State Property often finds itself under criticism, but it seems that certain progress has been made this year.

In the first six months, the Ministry filled the state treasury with 103 million kuna, more than was expected for the entire year, writes Novi list. According to the annual plan, the target from ‘managing non-financial real estate’ was to achieve 98.8 million kuna.

The Ministry led by Goran Marić has secured a total of 550 million kuna for the state treasury in the first half of the year, of which the largest portion, 450 million, relates to income from managing companies in (co)ownership of the state.

Additionally, in August, a tender was announced for the sale of 10 properties owned by the state, including a villa in Grškovićevoj measuring 350 square meters from which Stjepan Mesić was evicted last year. The starting price is 5,281,250.00 kuna.

A villa in Pantovčak with an area of 650 m2 is also for sale for 18,153,737.50 kuna, as well as properties in Motovun and Mali Lošinj.
